FADS Show Season
I have read and understand the information on the FADS web site, particularly the information on the INFORMATION FOR FARMS tab.
I will submit this FADS FARM AGREEMENT at the beginning of each FADS Show Season for which I request to have FADS show(s) at this farm.
When I request to have a show added to the FADS Show List, I will use the FADS FARMS SHOW FORM (LONG version for first show, SHORT version for subsequent shows).
I will hold safe, fun, casual dressage schooling shows that benefit the training and showing experience of horse and rider.
I will only hold a DRESSAGE show. I will not simultaneously hold another equestrian activity on the farm/facility. For example, no jumper shows/classes, no trail shows/classes, etc.
I will have show insurance specifically covering each FADS show at this farm.
I will have and use a Hold Harmless Agreement / Waiver.
I will keep the completed Hold Harmless Agreements / Waivers on file until the statute of limitations expires (can be more than 5 years in Maryland).
I will include "volunteers" in the list of entities covered by the insurance and the Hold Harmless Agreement / Waiver.
When I list the names of my show volunteers, I will include Leslie Raulin, Cheryl Loane, and Michele Wellman as my show marketing volunteers.
If I have a farm/business web site that includes information about my FADS show(s), I will state that each FADS show is a FADS show and will provide the FADS web address (www.FADSshows.com) and FADS logo..
I will use the FADS Online Entry Form for my show entries.
I will use FADS ShowWare software (free for FADS shows), which helps me manage the show and easily creates reports needed by the FADS Webmaster. I understand this requires the use of a Windows PC and MS Access or the runtime version.
For each FADS show at this farm, using FADS ShowWare, I will provide the (1) RIDE TIMES (3 separate PDF files); (2) RESULTS in a PDF file; and (3) RESULTS in an Excel file, to the FADS Webmaster in a timely manner.
If I hold another non-mounted activity during a FADS show at this farm, such as a tack sale, non-prepackaged food sales, food give-aways, etc., I will obtain insurance to cover the activity.
If I hold non-prepackaged food sales at a FADS show at this farm, I will obtain the pertinent state, county, and/or city license(s) to cover the sales.
At the end of each FADS Show Season for which this farm had FADS shows, I will contribute to the cost of season-end award ribbons on a cost per ride basis. (The cost will vary for each show season. For 2025, the cost was $.88 per posted ride. This is reimbursement of the actual cost of the ribbons and postage.) If I do not pay within 30 days of receiving an email with my cost, I understand my shows will no longer be listed on the FADS web site.
I understand that if my show(s) do not comply with the above, as determined by the FADS Webmare, my show(s) will no longer be listed by FADS.
