FADS Show & Champion Ribbons

FADS Show Ribbons

  • This is an optional service and fee. 
  • If a FADS Farm wants to use FADS show ribbons, they are ordered through the FADS Webmaster (LeslieRaulin@gmail.com). 
  • Current (2025) cost is $3.20 each for first, through sixth place ribbons, which is the actual cost of the ribbons (FADS does not make a profit). 
  • How to order FADS show ribbons:
  • Using the FADS ShowWare 9.A.1 Test Count Report, determine the number of ribbons of each type you need.
  • Email LeslieRaulin@gmail.com to inform me of your ribbon requirement (# needed for each place, order extras for ties).
  • You will receive an invoice via email.
  • The ribbons will be boxed and placed on the white bench on the porch of 2027 Gapland Road, Jefferson, MD, 21755.
  • You may then pick up the ribbons at your convenience. 
  • Place your check under the door mat using the plastic bag provided with the ribbons.
  • Unused ribbons may be returned for a full refund or retained for your next FADS show.

FADS Season-End Champion Show Ribbons

  • This is a required fee for all FADS Farms. 
  • At the end of each FADS show season with at least six FADS shows, season-end champion ribbons are awarded to the horse/rider pairs with the highest mean scores in a division/level (example: AA/First) (there are no drop scores).  The horse/rider pair must have ridden in at least two FADS shows during the season at the division/level.
  • Larger divisions/levels will receive more placings and smaller divisions/levels will receive fewer placings. Divisions/levels with very few qualifying rides will not be awarded ribbons.
  • FADS Farms reimburse the FADS Webmare for the actual cost of the ribbons and postage (FADS does not make a profit). 
  • The cost for each farm is based on the total number of completed rides at the farm during the show season.  HC rides, scratches, eliminations, etc. are not included. The recent cost is $0.69 per completed ride (2024, subject to change).  For example, a farm with 132 completed rides during the show season would pay $91.08 for the season-end ribbons.
  • You will receive an email with your costs after the ribbons are mailed.  Then mail your check, made out to Leslie Raulin, to 2027 Gapland Road, Jefferson, MD 21755.
